Fish Pills® are a round, painted styrofoam ball which provides flotation for your hook and your bait, when fishing in a river, stream or lake. Fish Pills® will not only keep your hook from snagging the bottom, and in the fishes strike zone, but it also acts as an attractant. Fish Pills® are used in similar situations as you would use a "corky" or "cheater." What makes a fish pill superior is that they are soft and provide better flotation. Recommended Hook Sizes:
Size # 0 Fish Pill use for "Tipping" or for spawn sacks.
Size # 1 Fish Pill use a # 6 or # 4 hook.
Size # 2 Fish Pill use a # 4 or # 2 hook.
Size # 3 Fish Pill use a # 1, 1/0 or 2/0 hook.

TECH TIPS

Step 1

Instructions

Begin by utilizing a hook that has a bait loop leader attached. Start the process by piercing the Fish Pill with your hook.

Step 2

Once the Fish Pill is pierced slide the Fish Pill up the hook shank until you reach the bottom of the egg loop.

Step 3

Pull the egg loop out enough to get your egg cluster centered and begin cinching the egg loop by pulling on the leader.

Finished

Once the egg loop is pulled tight push the Fish Pill snug against the bait loop and bait. The finished product should have a centered bait.

Tipping

Push the hook into the Fish Pill and barely pierce the other side. This technique is best used when there's heavy debris in the water e.g. leaves.
